Portici
Portici lies on the Vesuvian coast between Naples and Herculaneum, in an urban area facing the bay. The Bourbon Royal Palace and its green spaces recall a history linked to royal residences and the villas of the Golden Mile. The Granatello harbour stands by the sea, while Vesuvius rises behind the town. Palaces, gardens and the waterfront combine to create a coastal setting quite different from Campania's larger seaside resorts.
